Tyler’s objectives are to understand his clients’ goals, work within their comfort level, build strong relationships based on trust, and develop strategic plans that will help them achieve their financial and retirement goals. He begins all client meetings by listening to their personal goals, current financial situations and plans for the future.
“My training and experience enable me to bring a high level of knowledge to each client situation,” said Tyler. “I help clients identify the proper products and services to best accommodate their specific needs and goals.”
Tyler has several areas of specialties. They include 403(b) retirement plans, investment planning and personal financial strategies. He also works in the corporate marketplace. There, he provides deferred and executive compensation plans, group health, life, disability and 401(k) benefit plans. Using a cooperative approach, Tyler and his team provide solutions ranging from the simplest financial strategy to the most complex estate plan.
“I specialize in helping Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) members and their families plan for their retirement,” he continued. “I help clients better understand their Public School Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS). I also help my clients evaluate their investment and retirement planning needs by analyzing the “what if” situations – based on their financial objectives.”
Tyler is a graduate of The University of Pittsburgh. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of GWN Securities, Inc., an independent registered broker-dealer. He holds life, accident and health licenses. Tyler also has earned a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. He is licensed to do business in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.
Tyler lives in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Tyler has served on several local boards, focusing on improving his local community. Tyler currently serves as president of the Latrobe Rotary.
