My goal is to help those in retirement and those approaching it fulfill their goals and help them minimize financial worries. I have a personal interest in the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) and the Public School Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS). My wife, Sue, is a member of both. I have guided many members through the process of retirement.
I joined Kades-Margolis Corporation in 1997. I offer a variety of retirement plans and accounts, including Tax-Sheltered Accounts (TSAs), traditional Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and Roth IRAs. As a Registered Representative of GWN Securities, Inc., an independent registered broker-dealer, I can offer mutual funds and variable annuities. I am separately licensed to offer fixed annuities, life insurance and long-term care insurance.
My wife and I have raised three children, Mark Jr., Mallory and Megan. I enjoy outdoor activities especially hunting, fishing, camping and boating.
Working with Educators
I would estimate that 70% of my current clients are public school employees that are contributing to a 403b/TSA (Tax Sheltered Account). This is the number one place to start saving for retirement and I can easily set these accounts up through your district’s payroll. The TSA accounts are a great place for other monies you may receive from the district or state at retirement. All we need to do is set up an appointment, determine your investment strategy and I can take it from there.
Not a public school employee? Not a problem. I am able to set up automatic withdrawal plans from your bank account. This way you can still invest for your or your family’s future through a Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, Non-Qualified Mutual fund or an Education Account.
I believe no plan is complete without preparing for the unforeseen; this is why I have added Life Insurance and Long Term Care (LTC) products to my practice. I look at these products like having house or car insurance. We don’t want our house to burn down or to get into an auto accident, but if something like this does happen, it’s nice to know we have coverage and the help is there if we need it.
