John has been a member of Kades-Margolis Corporation since 2003. His areas of specialties include retirement planning, 403(b) plans, 457(b) plans, college consulting and planning and personal financial investment strategies and insurance solutions.

John began his career in the financial services field in 1983. For the past 30 years, he has worked solely in the educational marketplace. John worked previously with MetLife as a Financial Service Representative and Regional Sales Manager before joining Kades-Margolis Corporation. John spent the first 12 years of his professional life as a Student Affairs Administrator at Penn State University.

John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance/Marketing from Southern Illinois University as well as a Master in Education Degree in Counseling from Penn State University. He also is insurance licensed in Delaware and Pennsylvania. He is a Registered Representative of GWN Securities, Inc., an independent registered broker-dealer.

John resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania with his wife, Toni, who retired from the West Chester Area School District after 26 years of service. They have two adult sons, Jason, a middle school science teacher and Ian, an attorney. When the time permits, John spends his leisure time fishing locally and relaxing at his Maine lake cottage.
