Jon Bartholomew, CPA®
Growing up in east central PA, I was fortunate to live down the street from my grandparents in a small town. This upbringing allowed me to understand and appreciate the importance of work ethic, family and the surrounding community. My grandfather and I used to spend countless hours together, where he taught me a great deal about investing, personal finance and goal achievement.
My affinity for numbers led me to obtain an accounting degree from Susquehanna University in 2003, where I then pursued a career in public accounting, obtaining my CPA license. To further my career, I then decided to branch out on my own, starting and maintaining an accounting practice. This opportunity has presented me the ability to work with individuals, families and small businesses to evaluate tax planning strategies, while cultivating and maintaining relationships in and around the surrounding community. Upon running a tax practice, I quickly learned that many people had additional needs for financial advisory, investment planning and life insurance protection.
Seeing these additional needs, I obtained my financial securities and insurance licenses, to provide a comprehensive investment plan incorporating both tax planning and financial advisory services. While getting to know people and learn about their personal and financial goals, I work diligently to develop investment planning advice that is goal oriented, risk mitigated and tax efficient.
