Randy’s professional career spans more than 30 years in the financial services industry as a financial professional and serving as Executive Vice President of Kades-Margolis Corporation from 1990-2019. Randy has and continues to develop and service his client base by specializing in helping to plan for the investment, retirement, and insurance needs of his clients and their families.
Since 1974, Kades-Margolis has been the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) ‘s chosen retirement and investment planning partner. Since 1990, Randy has worked with public education employees, their spouses, and their families. He has helped clients understand their pension benefits (Public School Employees’ Retirement System, PSERS) and how their pension integrates with their other investments to create a retirement plan.
He is professionally licensed in the sale of mutual funds, managed advisory accounts, stocks, bonds, variable and fixed annuities, and life, health, and long-term care insurance.
Randy has earned several professional designations, including the American College’s Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and the Tax Exempt and Governmental Plans Consultant (TGPC) designation bestowed by the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). He also holds the CLTC designation, Certified in Long-Term Care, awarded by the Institute for Long-Term Care Certification.
Randy has been a member of the National Tax-Deferred Savings Association (NTSAA) since 1990 and is a past president, vice president, and board member of the organization. He has also served on the NTSA Leadership Council. NTSA is the nation’s only independent, non-profit association dedicated to the 403(b) and 457 markets. NTSA is a sister organization of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA), and both organizations come under the umbrella of the American Retirement Association (ARA), which works for America’s retirement.
Randy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He majored in Marketing with a concentration in Economics. Randy enjoys traveling, playing racquetball and tennis, and reading nonfiction books in his leisure time.
