Wealth Accumulation & Retirement Planning
One of the most gratifying parts of working with public education employees and their families is helping them establish a habit of regular savings, investing, and tax planning strategies to accumulate wealth. Whether saving for a house, education, retirement, or another specific goal, wealth accumulation is the first step to financial independence. I work with my clients to review and monitor their current investments, allocation, and savings rate to help ensure they’re properly aligned with their short- and long-term goals.
Insurance Planning
Establishing a proper risk management strategy becomes increasingly critical even before accumulating wealth. What would the result of a catastrophic illness, injury, or even untimely death be on your investment and retirement planning? Having the proper insurance in place is essential to protecting your future and your family. Setting up a plan of care in the event you or your spouse need long-term care is also critical to maintaining wealth. I help my clients in each of these areas of risk management.
Retirement Income Planning
There comes a time in every investor’s lifespan when they transition from a growth focus to an income mode. Is there a proper way to disburse one’s assets to recreate a paycheck in retirement? There are many answers to this question. Perhaps most importantly, proper income planning before and in retirement is critical to avoid running out of money prematurely and maintaining the desired income level throughout retirement despite inflation or the ups and downs of the stock market.
