Bob Allshouse
Greensburg, PA
I entered the financial service field in 1983 with a Master’s Degree in Education from Baylor University and a Bachelor”s Degree from Slippery Rock University. I taught 8 years in the PA Public School System at Hempfield Area School District. Because of that background, I have always applied an educational approach to my business protocol. No pressure but lots of information to help the client make the choices that fit their temperament and needs. As my clients progressed from child raising and asset accumulation to asset managing and legacy planning my practice evolved to meet their new needs. I remain energized and excited when new opportunities arrive to serve clients of all ages. There is always something new to learn and apply to help others attain their financial goals.

Asset Accumulation
The sooner we can practice the habit of becoming “savers” and not just spenders the greater potential we have to be financially successful. Knowing how to overcome procrastination, where to place our money to grow and what types of accounts achieve tax favors are areas in which I can provide experienced advice.
Risk Management
Everyone wants to feel comfortable and secure as they go through life. But not everyone wants to take the same amount risk. The proper blend of insurance products (life insurance, annuities and long term care) and investment vehicles (savings accounts, money markets, mutual funds and alike) is a key component to allow us to “sleep well” during each phase of life.
Income and Legacy Planning
Many of us have the fear of living too long and not having the money to support our longevity. Early saving and early planning can go a long way to avoiding this financial crisis. I can help you understand your pension, social security benefits and the voluntary programs ( 401k, 403b, IRA’s, Roth IRA’s etc) available to you. With good planning we together can create a pleasant problem…”leftovers”. There are costs to transferring these unused assets to your adult children. The good news is, I have solutions to minimize those costs.
